Engineering

The Stover Group has been providing a wide variety of professional environmental engineering and operations services for over nineteen years, including the services described below. Our engineers, technicians, and operators are all fully trained and certified.

  • Concept Engineering Services
    These services include concept development and design, feasibility studies, problem definition, process engineering and evaluation, and treatment plant design evaluation.

    Treatability/Process Development Services
    These services range from biological treatment and physical/chemical treatment to demonstration projects, treatability studies, and pilot studies

    Industrial Wastewater Engineering Services
    These services include alternative evaluations, compliance liaison, operations consulting, demonstration projects, plant evaluations, pretreatment programs/permitting, sampling and monitoring programs, sludge handling and dewatering, treatability studies, waste treatment and disposal, wastewater characterization, wastewater minimization, water and chemical balances, concept engineering, and NPDES permit applications.

    Municipal Wastewater Engineering Services
    These services range from evaluation and troubleshooting of existing plants; process selection and concept designs; feasibility studies; sludge handling, dewatering, and disposal studies; and treatability studies.

Operations

The Operations group provides a broad array of specific services for the operation and management of industrial wastewater treatment plants. These services include assistance during construction, laboratory training, operation and maintenance manuals preparation, operations fine-tuning, operator training, plant optimization studies and audits, plant start-up assistance, process design, total contract operations, troubleshooting, and filamentous bacteria identification.
